Hidden Faces of the Rainbow

Everyone loved me when I said I was all rainbows and sunshine,

especially my family and friends,

but then looked at me with pursed lips, fear and suspect

when I admitted that I was also a follower of Christ.

And the irony is that because I love rainbows I don’t fit in with Christians.

So here I dance, in no mans land,

Viewed as the enemy,

Just because I refused to pick a side,

And choose to love everybody.
